My Tried and True Method for Bumper Shipping

My Tried and True Method for Bumper Shipping

Shipping bumpers is never fun, especially if they are those monsters from the 1950s or those 5 MPH EPA mandated slabs from the 1970s. In this case it's a 1965 Chevrolet Nova front bumper so it's not bad. I start with a 40x80 inch sheet of cardboard, folding around as tightly as possible, wrap with shipping tape to hold it in place, then wrap with 2 layers of cellophane, finishing with even more tape. I've shipped over 300 bumpers this way and have yet to have a problem.
